Dubrovnik: a big walking day

Catch an earlyish bus and head up - towards the fortress on the mountain top. Great views all the way up. Dubrovnik has been rebuilt a number of times (earthquake, wars) and has generally withstood the ravages of time. Back down into town and find ourselves amongst a lot of tourists: many from the big cruise ships. Enjoy the fort (even though overrun with Game of Thrones fans), the Rector’s Palace and finally walk the walls. Good day! (10+ miles).Read more
