Sanpur Lake

This lake is along the side of the road that goes from Sanapur to Rangapura village. This lake is an important reservoir and has played a significant role in the irrigation systems of Vijayanagara adva Constructed alongside the Vijayanagara canal. The canal from this spot winds northwards and is called the Anegundi canal. A little ahead along the path of the canal is the green irrigated valley.
