    Tokyo is enormous...we left the warm grey clouds to explore via the subway, visiting the Meiji ji Shinto shrine and park, acres of tropical woods with dark blue butterflies the size of your fist, gardens, water lilies and the scent of humidity. Then on to Takeshita with pet cafes (hang out with chinchillas! Or cats or capybaras, mini pigs and guinea pigs!), Japanese fashion, rainbow crepes and weird sweets.
