    Whirlpools, rice fields, rain-green mountains

    It poured tropical soft warm very wet rain...all green mountains, bright rice fields and wisps of cloud. We started with an onsen in the hotel overlooking Naruto Bridge, then slopped through the rain ro walk under the car deck of the brdge and see the amazing whirlpools crashing between the colliding channels of water. A couple of old towns, a delicious Japanese Italian fusion pasta dish (miso, lotus root) and lots of weather and greenery as we drove through the valleys at the heart of Shikoku...ending up in a guesthouse in the clouds, Eva on guitar, cards, cold Asahi beer and an evening of harmony far from the world...Read more
