Quiet couple of days in Narita, near the airport and very far from the central areas of Tokyo. A practical day on Friday returning the car, final shopping and packing cases. Up early on Saturday to visit Tokyo Station and then have tour of the embassy and lunch with the lovely Corin..before the mammoth return journey. Trains to Narita, shuttle bus to the airport, 3 hours or so to Shanghai, forced to enter China with luggage and passport control, overnight in comfortable hotel in Shanghai, anither shuttle, 12 hours to Frankfurt where we parted ways..fabulous trip but looking forward to home now..Read more
