Hells Canyon Drive to Dam

Had cereal for breakfast. The snake river has 3 hydroelectric dams in a row. We are staying next to the middle dam, Oxbow. We drove down to the last dam, Hells Canyon dam today. It’s a pretty drive down. The is a long narrow lake you follow. At the dam, we hiked down stream about a mile and had lunch. This is where some of the raft trips start from but they have all stopped running. It’s too late in the season. There were fish jumping everywhere. One guy said they had carp, trout and bass in the river. We are still staying at Copperfield campground. We signed up for a jet boat trip going on Saturday.En savoir plus
