    Day 3 Roadtrip around Cape Peninsu

    -Boulder beach to see the penguins 🐧
    -Cool coffee stop in Simon’s town -Think cafe
    -millers tidal pool ( spotted orcas just before this) too chicken to go for a dip, poisonous sea urchins all around - no thank you
    -Cape point peninsula view points
    Cape of good hope ( most south western point of Africa)
    Muizenberg Becah colourful huts
    Sunset back in cape town down by the V&A waterfront with ferris wheel
    Quick drink in timeout market

    Day 4: Robben Island & Table Mountain

    Sunrise of the waterfront
    Ferry views to Robben Island
    Robben Island & Mandelas cell
    Tour guide (video) was also an ex prisoner
    Spotted penguin on the island
    Back in time for a sunset hike
    Platteklip gorge to upper cable
    Route up the mountain 700*m eleven gain in less than 3k
    Made it to the top for a sundowner aperol was stunning
    Beautiful sunset in the sky
    Gondola back down and caught the dusk time

    Day 5:Final Day in Capetown

    26 juin 2024, Afrique du Sud ⋅ ☀️ 18 °C

    Final sunrise over capetown down by the waterfront
    Went to a cult spin class was deadly, killiian got a smoothie after so he was happy
    Fitted in one final hike. We are obsessed with table mountain Kasteelsport hike to the famous diving board
    Steep incline of about 800m over 2.5km so was straight all the way up
    Unbelievable views from the board, looks more scary than it was. I wasn’t messing around
    Back down and pit stop in Signal Hill for another famous yellow frame
    Picked up our new car
    Went to truth cafe, unbelievably highly recommended and was class
    Final road trip out of capetown
    Arrived to Franschhoek as the sun was going down
    Went to an Italian for dinner

    Day 7: 🚗Franschhoek to Wilderness

    Breakfasts in Franschhoek before we left in Brunch Club
    Coffee run to Get lost coffee
    Secured the snacks from mother dough
    Set off 400km drive
    4.5 hours stunning views along the Franschhoek Pass and even spotted baboons on the road
    Great music and podcasts
    Stunning hotel in Wilderness.
    Sea views all around with a fab welcome drink & bottle of bubbles
    Beautiful spa and rooftop pool

    Day 8: Wilderness chilling

    Ridiculously chilled day
    Morning sunrise with dolphins swimming in the water
    Morning coffee delivered to the room
    Walk along the beach followed by a stand in the sea as the currents and waves were rough and we are not foolish
    Footprints in the sand by a cute doggo
    Went to a coffee spot recommend by Jarryd who owns some dose in cork 10/10
    I did actually iron my white jumpsuit mom I swear 😂
    Hotel lobby goals
    The commage coffee
    Back to hotel hung out by the pool
    Saw some more dolphins & whales
    Headed to the gym
    Champagne post gym is always a good idea
    Sunset champagne and more dolphins

    Day 9 Wilderness - Tsala

    Final sunrise in Wilderness
    Sunrise cappuccino with only one sighting of a dolphin
    Morning run on the beach
    Fisherman caught a large fish
    Stopped in Kynsa for coffee at snob coffee
    Arrived to Tsala = paradise
    Unbelievably cool bar set up with gin whiskey and vodka
    Found pool in Tsala
    Aloe Garden and aloes in bloom
    Dinner first night in Tsala

    Day 12 Tsala - St Francis Bay

    Goodbye paradise
    Stopped in Plettenberg Bay for a coffee in Seakrit
    Market on Main for shopping bits so cute
    Whales Point in Plett
    Bloukrans bridge ( bungy bridge) was sick watching everyone
    Views ( videos) along the way were incredible of the national park Tsitsikamma
    The tree was cool, like Dr Suess tree a tree in a tree in a tree
    Hangover kicked in😂
    Arrived in Francis Bay and Sands guesthouse
    Balcony views of the sea
    Found st Francis brewery
    Killian tried a flight the local stout was replaced with Guinness 😂
    He created his own split the G
    Cocktails were 2-4-1 so that’s what I did

    Day 13 St. Francis Bay

    Beautiful sunrise this morning
    Sunrise photoshoot ( thanks chilli)
    Morning swim
    No sharks in this water so we were safe
    Did a Francis Canal tour
    Went to Cape of Francis, Port of Francis and St Francis
    The port is the only private port in South Africa
    9km of canals where all boujee people own ridiculous homes
    Literally mansions with private docks, beaches, indoor pools, gyms some even have staff housing like chefs, nanny’s you name it
    Alex Ferguson house we saw
    Kelly Slater house
    Famous Michelin star Irish chef Conrad Gallagher
    The biggest house was like 13 beds ( stupid big)
    Captain Kev was a brilliant canal guide
    Went out to Cape lighthouse wind was picking up
    A crazy wind surfer
    Had a car picnic feat the best cheese LOLs
    Spotted a hummingbird
    Sunset g&t
    Not pictured the insanely good Indian we got

    Day 14 Francis Bay - Amakhala Reserve

    Last sunrise deep in the Indian Ocean
    Granny’s pool dip very very cold
    Drove from Francis bay to the game reserve
    Arrived to the stunning lodge
    Had lunch and headed out on our first game drive
    Went searching for lions no joy but came across lots of white rhinos
    This reserve has them all tagged for security purposes and they have 24/7 watch from poachers as they are all still horned which is unusual for reserves to risk

    Day 15 Amakhala Reserve x2 drives

    Unbelievable morning drive
    Found the lions for about an hour
    Male lion was absolutely beautiful
    Young male lion had been kicked out of the pride for a few months for stepping out of line literally
    Came across the elephants so beautiful we kept a v safe distance as one was in heat
    Male hippo and its baby calf the mom was killed by the elephants crazy story
    Afternoon drive
    Saw more elephants and came across the giraffes and zebras
    Had our sunset drinks near giraffes and zebras
    Beautiful sunset
    An incredible first day

    Day 16 Amakhala Reserve x2 drives

    Day 3 on safari
    An incredible sunrise was ridiculous
    Went and found the cheetah female and her four cubs they were quite far away to my iPhone couldn’t hack the zoom😂
    They were an hour away from the lodge so Ferrari safari ensued on the way back
    It was warm but super super windy
    Afternoon drive we found the hippos again and spotted a rainbow
    🌈 apparently if you find the end of the rainbow you find the leopards 😂
    We came across a lovely male elephant who had been excommunicated from the herd but this time he had a friend with him which the ranger was so surprised by their playful reaction was possibly a highlight for me I was in awe
    Came across the African buffalo, they can be very unpredictable so not a safe one to come across on a walking safari
    Our last sunset drinks and then we had a private honeymoon dinner it was fabulous    En savoir plus
