Day in Marseille

We woke up and had about 4 hours to explore Marseille before we had to take a bus to Nice so we walked around the main part of town by the old port and stopped by some shops and a church before having brunch. Then we went up to the Norte Dame church on top of the mountain which was a great viewpoint and amazing to go into. After that we walked back down and through Old Town which was a very quiet, local street with some shops and restaurants. Then we headed back to the hostel to get our bag and go to the bus station. The bus ride was about 2 ½ hours so we got there with a little time to walk around the area before dark and have some amazing lasagna for dinner.Read more
