    Our first stop in WA was Lake Argyle - Western Australia's largest and Australia's second largest freshwater man-made reservoir. The reservoir is part of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme and is home to over 70 islands. It is classified as an inland sea and at its peak in the green season Lake Argyle holds a staggering 10.7 billion cubic litres of water at full supply level.
