    Tjaynera/Sandy creek is a campsite accessible only by 4wd. The road in includes a 0.6m deep water crossing. The waterfall is a short walk from the campsite and provides a great swimming spot.

    Our first stop in WA was Lake Argyle - Western Australia's largest and Australia's second largest freshwater man-made reservoir. The reservoir is part of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme and is home to over 70 islands. It is classified as an inland sea and at its peak in the green season Lake Argyle holds a staggering 10.7 billion cubic litres of water at full supply level. That's more than 18 times the size of Sydney Harbour.Read more

    Ivanhoe crossing is a cement causeway over the Ord River. Located just north of Kunanurra, it was once the only route to Port Wyndham. It is now a popular fishing spot, despite being known for Saltwater Crocs.Read more

    We did a fun little 4WD track up to Brancos lookout - the highest lookout in El Questro Station - to watch the sunrise. After sunrise we were treated to a croc spotting!!

    Mitchell Falls is a very remote four-tiered waterfall in WA, accessed by a rugged 120km dirt track from Drysdale River Station. A lot of people opt for a helicopter ride in but we took the dirt road followed by a 9km return hike. The falls drop 80m through cascading pools, contrasting with the surrounding red cliffs.Read more
