    10. juli 2022, Australia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Our first stop in WA was Lake Argyle - Western Australia's largest and Australia's second largest freshwater man-made reservoir. The reservoir is part of the Ord River Irrigation Scheme and is home to over 70 islands. It is classified as an inland sea and at its peak in the green season Lake Argyle holds a staggering 10.7 billion cubic litres of water at full supply level. That's more than 18 times the size of Sydney Harbour.Les mer

  • Mitchell Falls

    20. juli 2022, Australia ⋅ ⛅ 32 °C

Mitchell Falls is a very remote four-tiered waterfall in WA, accessed by a rugged 120km dirt track from Drysdale River Station. A lot of people opt for a helicopter ride in but we took the dirt road followed by a 9km return hike. The falls drop 80m through cascading pools, contrasting with the surrounding red cliffs.Les mer
