    Dorrigo National Park

    November 3, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

On our way down the coast, back to Sydney we decided to stop for one day and drive inland to Dorrigo National Park. It felt really good being back in the mountains. We decided to do a 2 hour return hike to Crystal Shower Falls. Unfortunately are all waterfalls pretty dried out this year because winter was dry but despite the little water that came out, the waterfall still was the most beautiful I‘ve ever seen.
Our campground this day was located on a mountain with a 360° view onto the mountains. The best view we slept in by far.
Also we got to know an Australian man named Blake who gifted us some wine and gave us many tips for travelling Australia and promised us to send us a list of places in South Australia that are more worth visiting than the tourist spots.
Also he told us everything about his wife and how she was so adventurous before they got kids and how he is so proud of her because she gets more adventurous over time now that they also have grandchildren. She even drives motorcycles again!
No, he was really sweet. ☺️
