Monda

Monda sits atop a hill, in the foothills of La Sierra de las Nieves. The town is located slightly inland, a 15 minutes drive from Marbella. The town has a central village square called "Plaza de la Ermita". Lavadero de la Jaula is the town fountain and roofed lavadero (public laundry area), which dates from the 16th century. Monda also has its own Castle (Castillo de Monda)[2] that has been built on the foundations of "Al-Mundat" an Arab fortress from the 9th century. The castle is now a hotel.Baca selengkapnya
