Today was the first day of our tour. We are on a tour led by Oku Japan “travel off the beaten path” Shoguns and Samurai. Today was spent walking 6+miles with multiple subway rides to see two shogun sites and other places. It was interesting to see these sites in the middle of the city. A patch of historic significance surrounded by modern day living.

Tomorrow we leave Tokyo and venture off the beaten path.
