Hunker down, get some miles in. Long, straight, flat roads. Drove along the Afsluitdijk, a 20mile dyke, protecting a huge area from North Sea flooding. Into Deutschland.

Big day in Norway! Flags out at 7am, in at 9pm. Lots of traditional costumes and festivities. A classic car raleigh, trip out on bikes to lake, shared meal with neighbours

Drove through Laerdal tunnel, 15 miles of it. Visit glacier museum. On to Oldevatn campsite where Al and Sam have rented hut and I am parked up alongside.

No not your grandmother...Couple of nights at Al and Siri's family get-away an hour or so north of Oslo. We stayed there in the winter about 26years ago. Great to be back
