Costa del Sol in Canada

Who would have thought that Canada feels like San Diego ? After a day in Vancouver, we escape to the Sunshine coast, a ferry ride away from the bustling metropolis. While we had suspected the name of this mainland stretch of coast to be a clever marketing gimmick....we are sitting on the beach in bathings suites and Susanne braved the waves.
In the evening the beach comes alive with sea lions and otters, playing in the surf . An eagle lands close to us , trying to steal the Otters meal.
The sunshine coast trail connects a number of basic huts across a 178 km mountainous hike . We reach the last hut via a day hike and feel accomplished.Leggi altro
