Village Store

As my bum was getting numb we headed up into the mountains to a little village store. We had treats - some milky, sandwich thing (not our cup of tea), rice bubble slice and rose jelly while we waited for some blankets to be dropped off. We witnessed someone buy a chicken, tie it up and hang it up on their bike to take home for later. Don't think I want to eat chicken ever again!
We were able to purchase some rice noodles, fish sauce, oil and eggs for us to take up further into the mountains.Read more
