Homestay

After a short ride up high into the mountains we arrived at our homestay for the night. All I could see was tents on the front lawn.... This brought back bad memories from a stay in southern Spain.Les mer
Too much Happy water

Dinner was delicious....then the happy water started. They use corn to make this wine/spirit here. They are so encouraging and make a real celebration with it.

Ha Giang Loop Day 2

We started the day still feeling drunk from the night before..... We had coffee and breakfast and jumped on our bikes for the most epic day! We've both said possibly one of the best days of our livesLes mer
Look out

First stop another stunning lookout. The day today is cold but the clouds have lifted and the views are stunning! We are so blessed
Cave 1.0

Quyet took us into a cave to explore. We had to use torches to see the waterfall and climb up the rocks. Despite being so cold outside it was toasty warm inside
Cave 2.0 + Lunch

The plan was to go bamboo rafting into a cave but the water was too high and the current too strong from yesterday's rain so we found another cave that the boys have never explored before. ApparentlyLes mer

Herbal bath, sauna, massages, good food, happy water and karaoke. An absolutely fabulous night! And a stunning room with a comfy bed.
Billiards with the boys

We spent the night playing billiards just down the road from our accommodation. We had the place to ourselves and laughed the night away. We really love these guys and have had so much fun with them
