Hay stopover

Nice little oasis in the midst of the endless flat plains and straight roads of the NSW outback. Emus galore and lots of cotton crops, but not much else!

Hay had one of the largest WWI enlistment rates for an Australian small town, with 641 men serving. In memory of this service, the town built the Hay War Memorial High School which opened on Anzac Day in 1923.もっと詳しく
