We had planned to take a slow day with rests on each town to mark our friends Warren's last day of hiking. Instead, because every place was closed when we arrived, we hiked most of the day before finding a place to eat. (no worries; we had provisions).

Then, as we were about to leave the city, we were asked to be filmed for a commercial for a local cheese! I haven't looked up Quesos San Juan in Palencia yet, but i think it is a real thing. i will let you know if we ever become famous actors in Spain.Read more
