We were able to check an item off of Brian's bucket list today: we got to tour the KTM Motorhall museum. It is dedicated to everything, KTM! The museum includes the history of the company, all sorts of design exhibits, many motorcycles you can hop on for photo ops, and, of course, KTM racing history. (Both Motocross and Moto GP) Brian was so happy. When I bought the tickets online, I also reserved a 10-minute ride on the race bike simulator. He could not wipe the smile off of his face.Read more

Traveler My wonderful wife and family worked in a stop at Mid-Ohio sports car course, while on a mid west vacation, 2010 for... a Skip Barber KTM racing school track day. For $300, I got to ride several different street and race models of KTM, all day, on my favorite roadcouse. I worked my way up (having been retired from racing and in the former racers group) gradually to THIS superbike for the afternoon. What a scary and capable machine, the RC8!

Traveler Notice the carbon fiber brake disks. Work better when HOT! Light and better Braking, but some riders have crashed in turn 1, lap 1 (brakes not warmed up yet).
