    Salamanca: The Golden City

    We walked around the Old Town area which contains the oldest University in Spain, founded in the 1100s. It’s also called the Golden City, because of the numerous sandstone buildings. The Plaza Mayor (Main Square) is huge and lots of people hang out there.Read more
