    This aqueduct at Chirk is shorter (both ways) but spectacular because of the railroad viaduct next to it. The canal also goes through a tunnel here.

    Farther upstream at the beginning of the canal is Horseshoe Falls, a U-shaped wall in the river used to direct water into the canal.Read more
