Petworth: Art and Landscape Architecture

Petworth House has been owned by the same family since the 17th Century. It is surrounded by a deer park designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown, which features undulating hills, beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, serpentine lakes, and clumps of trees. Closer to the house is the Pleasure Grounds, with temples, huge trees, and flower beds.
