Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale

Pateley Bridge is a small market town with many old shops, including the world's oldest sweet shop (according to the Guinness Book of World Records). It is in a 1661 building, and has been continuously operating as a sweet shop since 1827. The last owner had it for 25 years, and sold it in March, 2021 to Ben, age 24. We had trouble picking something out, as there are so many choices. Finally we decided, Ben weighed them out, and put them in traditional striped paper bags.
