Visited the original headquarters of girl scouts. The meetings used to take place in the old carriage house of the home she shared with her husband. They had a great display of old uniforms dating Czytaj więcej

Jones Street is considered one of the prettiest streets in Savannah with houses generally dating from the 1850's to 1860's, beautiful trees lining the street and I love the gas porch lights!

Not quite sure how I found this place, but I'm glad that I did. It only took us about 10 minutes out of our way according to Google map, but we did a lot of driving in the middle of cornfields. It was Czytaj więcej

I honestly had no idea that there were oil fields in Illinois! Not only are there, but there is also a town called Oilfield, IL. We would have never known that had we stayed on the interstate. Czytaj więcej

Well we made it. We're almost home. Spent the last night in Janesville, WI. It was a great trip! No mishaps or disasters. The weather was HOT but that was to be expected, and it rained/stormed every Czytaj więcej
