• Planning and retro games day

    April 13, 2017 in Japan ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C

It's our last day in Japan! We realised that we don't have enough money for our journey to the airport tomorrow which is super annoying when it costs £2.50 to withdraw money so we decided that we'd head back towards the main area of Osaka to change up some money at a money exchange and to visit a retro game bar we had wanted to go to as a final treat in Japan. We needed to but in some more work to our Vietnam plans and the route we are taking from there first however. We spent the day researching, planning and booking so we now have a better idea of how long we want in each place and how to travel between each. It feels good to have some ground work from and we would of booked more if we had more funds in our travelling account and didn't have to wait for a transfer to clear. We packed all our stuff and had our last supermarket food tea before heading across the city to the exchange shop and then the bar. It was a very small bar that could sit around 12 people at a push so we were lucky to arrive when a Sega machine was free. We played some sonic to start with which brought back so many memories as well as other games I hadn't seen before. Even a Michael Jackson fighting game! It was a pretty cool way to spend our last evening before we head to Vietnam tomorrow.Read more
