Our first glimpse

As we crested the top of the rim from the approach drive, we were so excited to see the amazing sight that is Crater Lake. We had spent some time in the lower visitor center learning about the lake and how the volcano had collapsed and eventually filled with water. It’s a pretty amazing geological discovery and we were very happy that they have preserved it so well for us to enjoy.Read more
