• Buttons Crossing, Kununurra WA

    20 juni 2021, Australië ⋅ 🌙 29 °C

Located just outside of Kununurra & over the famous Ivanhoe Crossing you’ll find this slice of paradise. Complete with a resident salt water Crocs measuring up at over 5m long.

The reason this place is called Buttons is from the river rock that makes up the ground that you camp on. The smooth round shape on the stones give it a button look. Which by the way was a nice change from the red dust & dirt. Our highlight was falling asleep to the sound of running water of a night being parked up near the water.
