Acatenango

Highlights:
- Managing to make it to basecamp!
- Seeing the explosions from the volcano
- The views above the clouds at basecamp
- Hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows on the fire
- Pancakes for breakfast and the hike down to the end
- Ordering McDonald's to the hotel after finishing and getting some much needed calories!

Lowlights:
- The whole hike up! We couldn't catch our breath the whole way up, it was so difficult and mentally draining!
- Serena getting bad altitude sickness on the sunrise hike and having to go back to basecamp Czytaj więcej
