Arrived at Victoria Falls

I need to admit, I've been very very grateful when the plane this morning took off and the destination on the screens showed Victoria Falls...
45 min before the gate A7 was supposed to open, I arrived there. Happily, I saw the screen which indicated the flight ET823 to Victoria Falls. Nothing could happen anymore, I thought...
How wrong I was, I figured out about 45 min later... Without any notice, as long as I was there at least, they changed the gate. Just the screen at the gate didn't show any destination anymore. So I checked on the big departures screen and saw GATE B2 - boarding!!!!! Thankfully - or unfortunately, I know the airport already very well so I ran straight to Gate B2. Afraid to miss the flight again, I was running like a chicken. Arrived at Gate B2, the screen showed than "Paris"?!?! I asked a staff member who assured me they would start boarding from there right away. Two other passengers with VFA as destination were waiting there too already, so I joined them. Within the next couple of minutes, the same story repeated again and again: People running to Gate B2, afraid the flight would have gone already! In the end they put us on a bus, and brought us to the plane. We finally boarded the plane with destination Victoria Falls. The plane was not even halfway full, when the announcement came that the boarding was completed. If all the other passengers where somewhere lost at the airport?!? 🤷
With just 30min delay this last and final flight for now, left the runaway... With that, the chapter "Addis Ababa" finally found it's end!

4 hours later, the plane safely landed at Victoria Falls Airport. The immigration process was fast and efficient and I even got my luggage!! Happily I was taking a taxi which brought me to the Hostel for the next two nights.

Finally arrived at this first destination, I made a little walk through the village, had a look at some artwork shops and found a chilled place for my lunch/dinner.
