    Unplanned stop-over in Addis Ababa

    22–23 ago 2024, Etiopia ⋅ ☁️ 18 °C

Yeah, this trip started very well 😊 At the airport in Zurich, the plane departed already with almost an hour delay. Knowing that the time for catching the connection flight was tight, I had the hope that the technical stop in Milan at least would be fast. So far, so good. After the second take-off of this flight, it seemed to work out. Six hours later, I was taught differently. Fog and no visibility didn't allow us to land safely.bThe pilot was doing turns and turns around Addis Ababa, gave it after a while a try and needed to give it up a couple of meters away from the ground. The game started again, overall we were circling 1.5h, until the pilot decided to go down. However, at the airport of Hawaasa, over 300km away from our actual destination. After another hour of waiting in the plane, the pilot did another take-off. Just those, who were checking the flight map, figured out that our new destination was Djibouti...!!! There, they bunkered some fuel and after one more hour of waiting the Airport of Addis Ababa finally gave the okay in regards of the visibility and fog. Finally, by 4PM (instead of 7AM) I stepped into the airport. My flight, as well as many others, of course was gone 😬 2.5 hours more in a queue waiting at least resulted into a new boarding pass for tomorrow morning...Leggi altro

  • Arrived at Victoria Falls

    23–26 ago 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ ☀️ 28 °C

I need to admit, I've been very very grateful when the plane this morning took off and the destination on the screens showed Victoria Falls...
45 min before the gate A7 was supposed to open, I arrived there. Happily, I saw the screen which indicated the flight ET823 to Victoria Falls. Nothing could happen anymore, I thought...
How wrong I was, I figured out about 45 min later... Without any notice, as long as I was there at least, they changed the gate. Just the screen at the gate didn't show any destination anymore. So I checked on the big departures screen and saw GATE B2 - boarding!!!!! Thankfully - or unfortunately, I know the airport already very well so I ran straight to Gate B2. Afraid to miss the flight again, I was running like a chicken. Arrived at Gate B2, the screen showed than "Paris"?!?! I asked a staff member who assured me they would start boarding from there right away. Two other passengers with VFA as destination were waiting there too already, so I joined them. Within the next couple of minutes, the same story repeated again and again: People running to Gate B2, afraid the flight would have gone already! In the end they put us on a bus, and brought us to the plane. We finally boarded the plane with destination Victoria Falls. The plane was not even halfway full, when the announcement came that the boarding was completed. If all the other passengers where somewhere lost at the airport?!? 🤷
With just 30min delay this last and final flight for now, left the runaway... With that, the chapter "Addis Ababa" finally found it's end!

4 hours later, the plane safely landed at Victoria Falls Airport. The immigration process was fast and efficient and I even got my luggage!! Happily I was taking a taxi which brought me to the Hostel for the next two nights.

Finally arrived at this first destination, I made a little walk through the village, had a look at some artwork shops and found a chilled place for my lunch/dinner.

With that I just say: Let the adventure being!! 🇿🇼🇿🇲🇲🇼🇹🇿

  • Day-trip to Chobe National Park

    24 agosto 2024, Botswana ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

What an amazing first day here in the heart of Africa! 🌍
The day startet with an early pickup from my hostel. The drive through the savannah started very well, we already got to see two of the Big 5 on the road: Buffaloes and Elephants.

The first stop was than at the Kazungula Border station. The formalities to exit Zimbabwe and enter Botswana were very efficient, so that we could start with a 4x4 Game Drive through the Chobe National Park. Breeding herds of elephants crossing our way, two sleeping lions just two meters away from the vehicle, a giraffe half a meter away, ... So many animals we've spotted - no chance to decide what was the best of it.

After lunch, the trip continued with a boat tour on Chobe River. This part of the tour I personally liked even more. Again, we saw so many species: Crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, birds, ...
Overall, my expectations have been more than exceeded about this short trip to Botswana. I'm very grateful for this very positive first experience of a Safari!!

The way back again we did the same procedure as in the morning and another 4 stamps are in the passport by the end of this day 😅.

  • The thundering smoke

    25 agosto 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ 🌙 12 °C

Carpe Diem, that's how I motivated myself this morning to get up at 5 am. Why? The plan was to catch the sunrise at the Victoria Falls and it worked out perfectly 😊 Experiencing one of the 7 natural wonders of the world in that way was just breathtaking. Almost nobody was around at that time. The guide perfectly managed the time to catch the right spot for the moment, when the sun was coming out.

I could write much more about, but the local name of the falls, translated the "smoke that thunders", describes it all. Seeing, hearing and feeling that huge wall of water is an experience for all the senses. I believe, I'll see the Rhine Falls from now on just as a small cute stream of water... 😅

With that, my solo travels are done for the next two weeks. Now I'm curious on the group, I'll join later this day...

  • Last day at Vic Falls

    26 agosto 2024, Zambia ⋅ ☀️ 31 °C

Yesterday afternoon, I've met the group with which I'll head further to Zanzibar. We are only 7 participants and 3 staff taking care for us in the next weeks ☺️. As a kick-off, we went for a typical Zambian dinner out. Later on, our first night in the tents followed. I didn't expect it to be THAT chilly!!! Nevertheless, we got some sleep, even with the thunder of the waterfalls in our ears.

This morning, we got up and had breakfast. Next point on the program was a little drive, a "tasting" what to expect us in the next days, with our truck. The destination was a wildlife rescue and research centre, Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust. We've been shown around and even though there was not a lot of animals, it was an interesting experience.
Back at the Campsite in Vic Falls, it was time for some rest and a lunch including some crocodile tail...

For the sunset, I joined a cruise on Zambezi river. We saw some elephants, crocodiles and even hippos. But the actual highlight definitely was the sunset.

  • Drive to Bulawayo

    27 agosto 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ ☀️ 26 °C

After a lovely last sunrise at Victoria Falls we took down the tents and started a long day of driving. After a couple of hours of driving, passing by coal mines and some cows, donkeys and monkeys, we stopped at the side of the road for a lunch break / sandwiches.
After another two and a half hours of drive, we arrived at Bulawayo, the second biggest city of Zimbabwe. With our truck we've kind of been the attraction itself, as apparently the locals are not used to strangers passing by a truck 🤣. Anyway, we got an hour to stroll around and pass by the local market. Afterwards, we drove to our next campsite, just a couple of minutes away.
There, we've gotten a lesson how to place the tents correctly, what happened surprisingly fast. Unpacking the stuff from the truck to the tent got easier this time also. I'd say, we're slowly but surely adapting to the way of travelling and camping.

  • Matobo National Park

    28 agosto 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

Early this morning, we've got picked up by Andy with his 4x4 Safari vehicle. He was the ranger and guide for this day, which it's purpose was to search for Rhinos.
We drove for about half an hour to the entrance of the Matobo NP. From there, we got deeper into the park and our guide was "Reading the newspaper", his words for checking out the situation which animals were recently around. At a certain moment we got out from the car and followed the footprints of the Rhinos by foot. After a while, we arrived at a hill, from where the ranger spotted two of the wanted animal. Therefore, we got closer to them, actually very close. We approached them maybe to a distance of 15 meters. Kind of scary, knowing that the Rhinos are much stronger as we are. Anyway, this mission was completed and we walked back to the road and the vehicle. Next, we drove another half an hour further into the heart of the park until we arrived at a waterhole. There, we had our pick nick for lunch.

The afternoon we started with a little hike to a cave with paintings which were assumed to be up to 6000 years old.
Before sunset, we went for one last Rhino walk and found another three of the species peacefully eating some grass. Lucky as we were, we got to see another family of three rhinos including a baby on our way back to the exit of the park.

What a crazy day found it's end with the drive back to our camp.

  • Great Zimbabwe National Monument

    29–30 ago 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

Today's drive was not that long, just about 300km and about 5.5 hours. We passed through the village Masvingo and came to our camp a bit outside the city. We're getting faster to put the tents in place and with the view we have tonight, it was even more fun to make our camp ready.

After lunch, we went out for the visit of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument - the ruins of the residence of the former kings of the region. Still interesting but not as exciting as the wildlife we left the Unesco site just before sunset to head back to the camp. Monkeys welcomed us back there and even more of course our amazing chef, who had prepared for us as usual a very delicious dinner.

  • Welcome to Harare

    30 agosto 2024, Zimbabwe ⋅ ⛅ 25 °C

Last night, we've got some rain, so packing the tents down this morning, was a little bit a humid thing. Nevertheless, we were on the road by 7.30 am, as our next destination, Harare, was 350km away. The drive went very smoothly, so that we arrived already for a lunch break and a little walk at the capital of Zimbabwe. Frankly, I was overwhelmed by the city when we drove deeper into its centre. So much traffic and chaos I've not seen for a while. But I need to admit, the chaos was very well organised and somehow the locals probably know many unwritten rules about driving in this city.
After two hours break over there, I was honestly not very sad to be back in truck and to head further to the next campsite.

  • Border Crossing to Zambia

    31 ago–1 set 2024, Zambia ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

What a long day of driving! We got out from our tents by 5:30 am to start with the drive in the direction of the border as early as possible. The closer we got to the Chirundu Border Checkpoint, the worse the street got. Nevertheless, we arrived just after lunchtime at the border and all formalities were done as well surprisingly quickly. We had crossed the Zambezi river and had the passports stamped, what means that we entered now Zambia. The drive to the campsite close to the capital Lusaka took another couple of hours, so that we arrived there just before sunset.Leggi altro

  • Drive to Petauke

    1–2 set 2024, Zambia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Today, we had another long day of driving ahead of us. But firstly, we made a stop at the supermarket, to fill up the storage of the truck. Later on, we moved all the way in eastern direction. We passed by s small but impressive part of the Great Rift Valley and the landscape started to change. However, the most lovely part of the drives so far have been, that wherever we are, people are waving in our direction even just from far away.

Today, we arrived even a bit earlier to the camp, so the tents were up before sunset.

  • Beauty from Brutality

    2 settembre 2024, Zambia ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Another day of mostly diving brought us today to the town Chipata, in the very east of Zambia. There, we had a stop to buy some groceries and lunch (pizza 😋), before we drove more to the north to the Mulberry Mongoose Workshop. The philosophy of this company is, that the craft woman take snare wire
recovered from poaching traps and transform it into jewellery inspired by the African bush. In two ways I was impressed by the business idea of those women: Firstly, they improve with their project the awareness of poaching and secondly, they created in the last couple of years 15 jobs for the local community.

After that short but impressive visit, we had just a couple of minutes more to drive to our next camp: The crocodile valley, located next to the Luangwa River. It is far the best camp, we've been so far: From it's terrace we can oversee the river with it's wildlife: Hippos, elephants, zebras, impalas, crocodiles,... What a little heaven on earth!

  • South Luangwa National Park

    3 settembre 2024, Zambia ⋅ ☀️ 30 °C

What an incredible day! At 6am we started with a Game Drive in the South Luangwa NP, just a couple of meters away from the campsite. Quickly, we spotted hippos, zebras and some elephants. The highlight of the day followed just about an hour after we arrived in the park: Our ranger found a leopard, eating an antelope as breakfast. For quite a while, we've been the only vehicle around, just observing the most elegant one of the Big 5.
Just a couple of minutes later, we found as well a family of lions, chilling under a tree. What an amazing morning!

We came back to the camp for a delicious brunch, after that we headed quickly to the town close by to have a look into the local shops.

Just before sunset, we started our second session of Game Drive on that day, which took us until we've been completely surrounded by the darkness, the only lights were the stars (and the spot light). How stunning it was, seeing hippos, elephants and even buffalos in the darkness!

  • Border Crossing to Malawi

    4 settembre 2024, Malawi ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

Another day of driving in the truck was ahead of us. The alarm was set for 5:20 am. After having packed the tents we had a quick breakfast, to start driving right away after.

After the first 2.5 hours we made a short stop at th supermarket, before driving to the border between Zambia and Malawi. It took a while until everyone as well as the truck was cleared. Nevertheless, we arrived at the so called Warm heart of Africa - Malawi at around lunchtime. The road changed immediately. It got way more bumpy and the portholes got bigger and bigger. At a certain moment, we entered to the Nkotakhota Wildlife Reserve. The road now was without asphalt anymore, we've been just surrounded by dust. After an adventures hour, we reached finally a more or less regular street again. Due to the very narrow street however, it still took us a while until we had reached our next campsite, right at the lake Malawi - Kande Beach. Gratefully, we are pretty used to put the tents in place, so that even in the darkness that wasn't a big problem. The very first impression of Malawi was different than Zambia. The children at the streets were waiving us with such an excitement as I've never seen it before. From far, we heard already the kids of the villages, which always were very excited about our truck even tough, we just passed by.Leggi altro

  • Lake Malawi

    5 settembre 2024, Malawi ⋅ ☀️ 25 °C

In theory, today was the day to sleep in after the long drive the day before. However, our neighbours on the campsite woke up apparently by 4.30am, therefore I woke up by that time too. After they left, I didn't fall asleep anymore, so that I took advantage of it to see the sunrise by the lakeside and it's beach. What a nice way to start the day!

After breakfast, we started a guided walk through the village from the tribe of the Tonga, just next to the camping. As soon as we got out of the gate, we were surrounded by shop sellers, all willing to sell their stuff. Each of them was kind of enforcing a conversation with one of us, however so far still everything seemed to be fine. Our real guide took over and explained many things about the culture, nature and the life there. We stopped at some houses, got shown mango and papaya trees and different other plants. We headed on closer to the centre of the village. Our "buddies" - the shop sellers were still with us and deepening the conversations. In the meantime the children came to us, holding randomly our hands. Surrounded by the sellers and children we moved on to the water pump of the village and later on to the place, where they made bricks for the houses.
At the end of the tour, each of the sellers brought one of us to their "shop" (basically some paintings). We've been enforced to play a local game, Malawi Bao Game, with them. Of course, they've let us win the game, in order to sell it. Also, they had a map of Africa, which they tried to sell. The first price he mentioned for both together was 150 US$. That was the moment I really got upset and sad about. It was clear from the beginning, that they will ask for something at the end of the tour, but the whole setup and the try to intimidating us made me leave his "shop" without further negotiations. I was definitely willing to give them something, but in the way they 've been playing, I remained just shocked about the shamelessness and the try of abusing our goodwill.

In the afternoon, we had no program anymore. We've been sitting by the Lake Malawi, trying to get our thoughts in order. The children in the village were so friendly, sweet and happy that we came. The "Azungus", as they're calling us foreigners, somewhere in a small village next to Kandwe beach...

  • Drive to Chitimba - TIA

    6 settembre 2024, Malawi ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

It was supposed to be an easy day. The beginning indeed was pretty good. After the sunset we had a nice and peaceful breakfast at our campsite. We started our drive in the direction of the north of Lake Malawi. At around 11.00am, somewhere heading upwards the hills, the truck started to smoke slightly. So, we stopped at the site of the road and the crew was fixing the issue basically to reach the next town, Mzuzu, luckily just a couple of kilometres away. We made it up there and stopped. We got 3 hours of time to stroll around so that the truck could get really fixed. It took a bit longer than expected, but around 15.30 we started the engine and continued our trip. Back on the road, everything went smoothly for a while.
Around 6pm, we got stuck again, however this time the road was blocked by two another trucks, incapable to move. The sun went down and we've still been stuck for about two hours. At a certain moment, we started moving and finally passed through, as one of the problem-trucks finally had been moved away. The joy, however, didn't last for long. After about 5min of driving the same again. No movement at all for another 1.5hrs. We started to prepare us already for a night in the truck, snacking whatever was around and making our own party. People around us, queuing with their vehicles, started to do camp fires. We figured out that the same truck which was just removed before, had gotten stuck again!
By 21.30 we finally, despite everything, we could pass and moved on to our camp, which we reached 45min later. Despite the very late arrival, our chef still prepared for us a midnight snack, before heading to our rooms (yes, we've gotten an upgrade for that night! )

TIA - This Is Africa! 🌍

After a good sleep of about 3 hours, we woke up again at 3.30am, to have a quick breakfast and start driving towards the border between Malawi and Tanzania. We got stamped our passports first on the Malawi side, waked than over the bridge to the Tanzanian side and completed the immigration formalities there. Also, we time traveled - one hour ahead in Tanzania. Therefore, it was almost midday, until we continued our trip. It was still a long distance we had ahead of us - about 350km. Without any issues we hit the road and arrived at the campsite at around 7.30pm. As we are now in the Tanzanian Highlands, on an altitude of 1700m above sea level, it was veeery chilly. Even more, I enjoyed a very hot shower - the first hot one since a while!Leggi altro

  • Mikumi National Park

    8 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C

Today, we only had a half-day of driving ahead of us. We passed another time through a part of the Great Rift Valley and even the Baobab Valley. Thanks to the early departure time and no issues on the road, we arrived at Mikumi by midday. As usual, we placed our tents at the campsite. Right after lunch, we started our Game Drive to the Mikumi National Park. Already on the road to reach the entrance of the park, we spotted a huge herd of giraffes. Inside the park, we found hippos, elephants, more giraffes, buffaloes, antilopes and even a crocodile strolling around.
After sunset, the guide got kind of nervous about the time, as the park was closing. However, he passed the exit sign in the opposite direction. We wondered, what he was about to do. A couple of minutes we had the answer: Apparently, he had gotten the information, that there were lions around. And indeed, as a very last suprise of the day, we got to see a family of lions, hanging around.
With just a couple of minutes delayed we reached the exit gate and headed back to our camp.

  • Arrival at Dar Es Salam

    9 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

Our last day on the truck! We started the day again very early to hit the road for one more day. Lunch we had quickly at a buffet restaurant, in order to be back on the road as soon as possible. The closer we got to Dar Es Salam, the higher got the density of the traffic. When we saw on Google Maps, that the way to go was just an hour left, we opened a Cider to celebrate the arrival. Over 4000km and roughly 80 hours we've spent on the truck, passing 3 land borders and had a breakdown in the middle of nowhere. All of that made the experience, the African Experience, complete. TIA - This is Africa! With a short flashback about our highlights - the Rhino Walk in Zimbabwe, the leopard enjoying his breakfast in Zambia, the Kids in Malawi and even the breakdown of the truck, and last but not least the Safari in Mikumi NP / Tanzania - we drove the last kilometres to the camp, directly at the beach of Dar Es Salam.
We celebrated the trip with a last dinner together. Afterwards, the luggage needed to be done and it was already time for the last night in our tents.

  • Arrival on Zanzibar

    10 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ☀️ 29 °C

After a last breakfast together, we went up to the truck again for the very short ride to the local ferry station. There, it was time to say goodbye from our truck driver, who drove us super safely and just impressive through Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and half of Tanzania.
Than, we "queued" (squeezed as sardines in a can) for a local ferry to get to the other side of Dar Es Salam. Alone, I would definitely have failed already with this first step 🤣. Our chef helped us until here with the luggage, than it was also time to say bye to him. Now just with our Tour Leader, we took a taxi to drive to the Zanzibar Ferry Terminal. What a messy traffic system!!! Never seen a roundabout going in three lines and two directions at the same time! 🤣 Anyway, we arrived at the ferry terminal, dropped our bags and boarded a while after the ferry. As well for that part I was more than grateful, not being alone! Arrived at Stonetown / Zanzibar, our passports needed to be stamped again, as Zanzibar has it's own government and is partially independent from Tanzania. And than, finally, we stepped out to Stonetown. A short walk brought us to the hearth of the old town, where we could drop our luggage. After a very last lunch with some of my fellow travellers, the time came to continue this trip by myself. A taxi brought me to the very southern end of Zanzibar, to Kizimkazi, where I'll spend the next couple of days. Arrived there, I feel like in paradise. The lodge is built on the rocks overseeing the Sea. What a heaven on earth!

    11 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ⛅ 27 °C

After a nice breakfast with ocean view, I did all my laundry (yes, it was needed after the camping and dust from the roads)!! 🤣
Than, I did a short walk to the main beach and centre of Kizimkazi, the fishing village nearby. Of course, all the locals wanted to sell something but apart from a small bracelet I denied all the offers. After a little nap at the beach, I walked back to the hotel for lunch.

Due to the low tide in the afternoon, I made a walk at the beach below the hotel. As the water was very low but amazingly clear, it felt as taking a bath in a huuuuuuge, never ending bathtub. What a beautiful and peaceful place!!

  • Sunrise & Dolphins at Kizimkazi

    12 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

Today, I started the day another time very early. At 6am the boat for the sunrise and dolphin tour came to the hotel to pick me and 3 other guests up. We headed then towards the sunrise, having a look for dolphins, which are used to be found around Kizimkazi. So far, everything went very well and I enjoyed the sunrise boat ride. After a while, a fisherman helped our skipper as he had spotted the wanted ones. So our boat turned around in the direction the fisherman had pointed. It was not him, who found them, but I had spotted our first sight of dolphins. So far, not a problem at all, as as well he can't oversee everything at the same time.
However, that what shocked me afterwards was that he almost screamed on us that we should jump into the water to swimm with the dolphins. I was not prepared at all and got a nice splash of saltwater through the snorkel, what made me clearing that issue first (how can I?!? 🤨🤣), so the skipper was already screaming in my direction: "Heads down!!!" Sure, breathing is completely overrated. 🫡
After a couple of moments the dolphins were gone already and we climbed back into the boat. The same "game" we continued for another 3 or 4 times. I'm still speechless about this practice. Especially mentioning that after the first jump, other boats were joining, all with their engines and propellers on. I'm ashamed having supported this practice by participating in this tour! The "good" thing about was, that it didn't take for long. Not even 1.5 hours after we started, we've been back already at the hotel.

For lunch, I made a short walk outside the hotel and checked out the options. I tried about 3 options, however nothing seemed to be open at all or even having any other people around. Due to the heat, I gave up and walked back to the hotel, where I spent the rest of the day to relax.

As the name says, exists this monkey only on Zanzibar with a population of about 5000. The tour through the forest was very nice, as everything is kept naturally and the human interfering in nature is much limited. The tour was short, nevertheless I returned happily back to the hotel, where I've spent the rest of the day.Leggi altro

  • Nungwi Beach

    14 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

Until the very last moment, I stayed at the Promised Land Lodge today. Never before, I had such an amazing hotel room with such a view. As the time for checkout came, I took a taxi to head to the other end of the island, the most northern beach of Zanzibar, Nungwi. Not even two hours later, I arrived there. As it was too early for check-in, I went first for a walk to look for a lunch. It took me just 5 mins to find a nice place at the beach, however within this couple of minutes, I've been asked at least 10 times, if I wanted to buy something. After lunch, the same for the way back. I finally could check in, changed to my beach outfit and headed back to the beach. As all the beaches are public, as well here I feel as I'm a walking ATM. Very seriously, is it okay after the 100st time "Jambo" / "Hakuna Matata", getting slightly pissed off? I'd love to talk to all of them, but knowing that they're just after money, doesn't help.

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the azure blue water, I had an amazing swim and a walk at the beach, sunset included! The north is definitely for a good reason very popular for tourists. The beaches are amazing, so is the water. I'm looking forward for the next two days though!

  • Snorkling at Mnemba Island

    15 settembre 2024, Tanzania ⋅ 🌬 27 °C

As the water was already amazing yesterday, I decided today to join a boat tour to snorkel close by the Mnemba Island, a small private island. On the way, we spotted a group of dolphins. The memories from the last trip came up, but I was thought wrong this time in regards of my prejudgement. Our captain gave a short briefing what we had to do, explained how we should proceed and he really took care that everything was safe before we jumped into the water to the dolphins. What a great experience!
After a while we let the dolphins be dolphins and headed on to our snorkel spot, at a shallow place close to Mnemba Island. I've rarely seen before SO incredibly blue, azure and crystal-clear blue water before! Maybe the Bahamas and Mexico can combat with the water here but not much more! 💙
On the way back we anchored one more time and the boat crew cut some fruits to serve to us. What an amazing morning!!

In the afternoon, I made a walk at the beach. As all the beaches in Zanzibar are public, you should think, it's easy to find a nice spot to chill. Completely wrong! I placed my towel unter a palm tree, just to be asked not even a minute later to move ahead not even a meter... Apparently I was a couple of centimetres in the area of the hotel 🤨 what definitely didn't change though, was the fact that everyone tries to sell you something... The area here is beautiful, but I most probably won't return to this beach as female solo traveler again. I know, I'm complaining on a very high level, but I'm just curious if those people think, money grows in Europe on trees and what allows them to comment every movement you do? I just wanted to take some pictures!
