• Great Zimbabwe National Monument

    Today's drive was not that long, just about 300km and about 5.5 hours. We passed through the village Masvingo and came to our camp a bit outside the city. We're getting faster to put the tents in place and with the view we have tonight, it was even more fun to make our camp ready.

    After lunch, we went out for the visit of the Great Zimbabwe National Monument - the ruins of the residence of the former kings of the region. Still interesting but not as exciting as the wildlife we left the Unesco site just before sunset to head back to the camp. Monkeys welcomed us back there and even more of course our amazing chef, who had prepared for us as usual a very delicious dinner.
