Lao Cai

During the drive back to Lao Cai (much more interesting in daylight!) we heard some great stories, including that dogs are highly prised possessions, and murder had been committed many times over the theft of a dog. Motor cycles? not so much. Snake was evidently a staple of the local diet, and they were very populous in the fields. Glad we didn't hear that while we were walking around the hills!
Back in Lau Cai we had a tea in a local restaurant before hopping back on the train for another over-nighter back to Hanoi. Czytaj więcej
