Time to leave Basel for Venice!

Basel was interesting.....

Some tips for travellers....
Taxis cost a fortune
Always check prices in cafes before ordering..
Avoid tunnels and beneath bridges..., Public urination in such places would seem to be mandatory from the reek.
Learn german.. Food places usually speak English but most other places were a bit of a struggle.

On the other hand the people are really nice (especially our new friend Terry Vincent at the Pullman Hotel), the public transport system is brilliant, there are a bazillion places to eat, and it is a very beautiful town.Baca lagi
