Chefchaouen

Pronounced chef-chuan 😀 what a beautiful blue town (not city - they say).
Unfortunately it hasn't stopped raining since we arrived but that didn't dampen our walk this morning. The local guide was excellent.
The town is 600 mtr above sea level and the buildings were all painted blue in the 1980's as they were previously painted white and too reflective. We walked around the old city and had some extras with us 😀
The place is a tourist mecca but beautiful...as you'll see.
