A drive back to Hanoi, Some shopping, eating and a bit of a rest, and we were ready for an overnight train trip to Sapa Hills!

Arriving in Lao Cai in the early morning, we disembarked and hopped into a van for the drive into the Sapa Hills.

After a rather scary drive up into the mountains we arrived at Sapa, had a look around a local market, had lunch with a local family and booked into our hotel.

I wasn't feeling the best, so had a sleep in whilst everyone else took a nice :) hike up Sapa Hill. (It would probably have killed me!)

On the way to Doung Lam we stopped at the Ngo Quyen Temple, which was pretty spectular.

Sold as a Typical Vietnamese Traditional Village, there was still a fair whiff of tourist trap, but it was very pretty and interesting.

Back to Hanoi for the last time.
We had a final dinner at a local French restaurant,bid our guide farewell, and boarded a plane for Angkor Wat, Cambodia!

We arrived in Siem Reap late in the evening, and were met at the airport by another guide.
Accommodation was first class (and then some) - Siem Reap is filling up with 5 star hotels!
