Day 9 Bolsena to Aquapendente

A day of 2 halves. Trying to leave town the street was closed but I saw that people lived in the street so I climbed over. The street was straight up. Then I got to the top and found the castle with a beautiful view. The first 12 km were through beautiful Forrest and farmlands. I saw wild deer bounding across my path and too quick to get a photo. I was passed by a Pilgrim in horseback ( no photo as he hardly said hi), also I met 2 very friendly cats. Then the last 12 km it was through ploughed fields of dust. Lodgings for the night are tough and pizza for dinner.Read more
