Vang Vieng

Spent 5 nights here over new year. The main highlights were the lagoons and the paramotoring as well climbing Nam Xay viewpoint. Stayed in the Mad Monkey hostel which wasn’t the most social although better than Luang Prabang. A lot of Dutch and Germans in groups so didn’t find many people to do stuff with during the day. Still managed to meet people to go out with at night which was fine. Final day we went tipsy tubing with girls I’d met the night before which was good fun as well. Vang Vieng as a town was quite run down and didn’t find anywhere good to eat but with a much better night life than Luang Prabang. Slow boat booked for early doors tomorrow heading to Pakbeng, staying overnight, and then heading to Huay Xai at the Thai-Lao border to get a bus to Chiang Rai 🇹🇭.Leggi altro
