Farewell London ❤️🤍💙

The long journey home begins today, but we carry with us the happy memories of the past three weeks — which somehow feel like a whole year. That must be the sign of a truly great holiday.

London has been a delight. The weather was incredible — more chaotic and expensive than ever, yes — but we were blessed with only three drops of rain and sunshine nearly every day. We couldn’t have asked for better.

And now, in true London fashion, let’s mark the end of our adventure with the iconic 1969 “Mind the Gap” announcement by Oswald Laurence, still heard on the northbound Northern Line platform at Embankment station.
