I'm going to cycle across the US!

No I haven't ridden a bicycle and about 15 years, but I'm going to do it! How hard can it be? 😟

I am headed to Portland on August 10th to be with my beautiful daughter when she gives birth to my grandson.
For the month that I am there I am going to research and buy my bike, then outfit it with all of the necessary gear I need to cycle and camp for the 3,000 miles to home. (I really don't like to think about this trip in terms of miles)
