First night camping. Fantastic campsite. Beautiful view with dinner, but not so great when the sun went down.

Get rid of bright lights in campgrounds!!!

Found a great primitive campground. Nothing around except some cows when I arrived.(loved waking up to those guys in the am).
A really loud, obnoxious, family bombarded the site round midnight. This place was in the middle of nowhere....blah

Set my alarm for the wee hours to see the perseid meteor shower. I think I might have seen ten.

Absolutely amazing drive through Wyoming today!

I came across this public land where I could have camped in the middle of the desert, but it was too early in the afternoon, and I didn't have much water. (might have also been the fear of camping alone with rattlesnakes)

I'll bet the night sky there would have been spectacular!Read more

This was by far my favorite night camping. I had an amazing view of a beautiful Montana sunset

The only thing that would have made it better would have been a Montana raised beef steak cooking over the fire.Read more

Knife for my bike trip home

This morning I was leaving Yellowstone and I decided to stretch my legs by browsing around an outdoor shop. I met a nice older man named Larry who was very helpful in helping me select a knife for my trip.

This night I camped in full on grizzly bear country. I was irrationally terrified! This steak I was too scared to cook before I went to bed, but it was delicious for breakfast..
