Travellers Nest Hostel, Da Nang, Day 2

We are having a beach day! We get up slowly and take advantage of the amazing breakfast this place gives out for free, before heading to the beach. We claim some sunbeds with an umbrella and get ready for a day of relaxing. The beach is lovely, not very busy, and it's great fun to watch the locals doing all kinds of strange poses for photoshoots and the lifeguard constantly walking up and down the beach blowing his whistle because people are swimming in the wrong areas. The sea feels good on another boiling hot day.
After that we relax a bit before going to Tam's cafe. A place highly recommended, mostly for the hostess. The food is Great, Amy finally getting a veggie burger, but Tam is better, filling a few hours with her stories of being a child in the war, and the current state she finds herself and her country in. It's great to sit and listen to and the pictures she has in her seemingly hundreds of photo albums are incredible. Another good day in Vietnam!Leer más
