C&C - Chocolate 🍫+ Cava Tours 🍾

Claire and Christy adventured to Sant Sadurní d'Anoia! It’s about an hour outside of Barcelona and is called the “capital of cava.”

First, we went on a chocolate tasting. The company, Simon Coll, has been around since the 1840s and is on its sixth generation of chocolate makers. After too many samples, we walked to a nearby cafe for pizza.

Next up was a Cava (sparkling wine) tour 🥂 We visited Caves Codorniu and they can trace their wine business back to 1551! We walked through their cava making process and got to visit their wine caves. They have 30km (about 18 miles) of caves below ground to store and age their wine. We ended the tour with a tasting and then went back to Barcelona to meet Grant and Wendi for dinner.Läs mer
