Government, Beer, & Stories!

We started our day with Belgian waffles and coffee on our way to another walking tour. We really enjoyed this tour! We walked around the European Quarter and saw the EU buildings. The walking tour was about the history of EU government and how it works today.

Then we went on a brewery tour and learned about the history of beer in Brussels and specifically about Lambic beer and how the monk’s used to brew!

Our EU walking tour guide told us about a local storytelling event he was hosting. We stopped by and met a bunch of locals! We listened to 8 stories, a mix of funny and sad. We’re happy we took him up on it!Read more
