5 Miles & 5 Courses

Great first day! We landed at 8:30am. Fun bonus was sitting next to some Bills fans as we all watched the playoff game! Sadly, Josh got robbed in OT ☹️

After landing, the train connected us easily to the city center and we settled into a cute coffee shop until the Airbnb was ready.

We met Phillip for a private “third reich tour” and he led us around to spots with significance to WWII and rise of the Nazi party. The second picture is a removed Nazi Eagle symbol. The party was founded in Munich so he walked us through the origin and how this changed the city. In total, we walked 5 miles in the cold with him! 💪

We stopped off for beer at Phil’s recommendation then got a little too tired to trudge onward. We grabbed a quick nap then made our reservation at Gasthaus Waltz for a 5-course dinner to reward our big travel day! 😋Read more
