Ceduna to Lane Cove (home)

After a brief overnight stay in Ceduna we drove to Orroroo on Sunday 29th to visit my high school friend, Lynette. Pretty uneventful drive.
We had a lovely overnight stay with Lynette parking in her back yard and had dinner at the Orroroo Hotel catching up on 40 years of news.
The next day we visited her shop and bought the dogs some pretty fancy jackets. We drove onto Peterborough where we had coffee and filled our fuel.
On the way to Burra we spotted the cottage that featured on Midnight Oil’s Deisel and Dust album cover.
Had lunch in Burra and then drove to Euston NSW for a noisy overnight camp.
Up early the day and drove to Hay NSW where we camped along the Murrumbidgee River for two nights. Hay is a lovely town and we like its local pub which we visited for after work drinks both days.
Thursday we drove to Jugiong and enjoyed a lovey dinner at the Sir George hotel. One of our all time favourites.
Good Friday we drove from Jugiong home our neighbours saved us a van parking spot and warmly welcomed us home.
We finished the day with welcome home drinks in the park. Eleven months to the day almost.
