Bridges, Mushrooms...and Clouds!

Or should I rather say "Apples, Forrests and Lakes"?

Our main reasons why we love to travel the Baltic States in late summer/early fall are the colors (lakes and forrests), the late summer fruits and vegetables, and the fantastic cloud formations, of course.

Since we have never cruised up North this far in the East through Latvia we are quite surprised how empty the country is (when it comes to traffic and people in public), how easy going and friendly the few people we meet are, and how many lakes we pass during our cross country ride.

What really catches our attention are the alleys of apple trees we pass along the way...and the mushrooms and the bridges...Read more
