    I giggled as we drove through the clouds.

    I took 144 pictures and videos as we drove the 48-mile stretch that traverses Rocky Mountain National Park. Mind you, about 5 minutes of that, I was just happy clicking because My Lovely was "all eyes one the road and cliffside". But it was too beautiful to deprive her the views. However, I suspect she found great joy in my delight.

    In the 4 trips across, we didn't do the pullouts for the overlooks. The views were spectacular everywhere.

    Whether you are into views from way up high, the waterfalls, the meadows, or watching kids play in the snow in July, it is all there, and all fabulous.

    My Lovely enjoys it all, but I think that it is the layers of the ranges as a backdrop to the magnificence before her that makes her gasp.

    This is the path from Grandby to Estes Park. You rise up into the clouds. Up to
    12,183 feet. Then you come back down - in body, but not in spirit.
