Lake Agnes Teahouse at Lake Louise, AB

Our final full day has come! We woke up extra early to ensure we were able to get a full day in today. Our first stop was Lake Louise, where the planned hike was to the Lake Agnes Teahouse trail. As we made our way to the trail, we followed the path along the magnificent Lake Louise. The lake was extremely busy with tourists, but still spectacular to see this popular sight in person. We decided to head on over to the trail and take pics of Lake Louise after.

The trail was a steep incline all the way up and steep decline all the way down. Amazing viewpoints along the way made for some nice resting points. After finally reaching the top we stopped for some great tea at the famous Lake Agnes Teahouse. The teahouse has no electricity and most of the dry goods are shipped in my helicopter in the spring for the entire season. All the fresh ingredients and supplies are carried on the backs of those who work at the teahouse everyday. The hike took us about 1.5 hours to climb, the employees of the teahouse do this trek with supplies on their backs anywhere from 35-45 min - quite impressive!Læs mere
